Below are the current scheduled school holidays and events/celebrations. Please note that these are subject to change; see your current newsletter and school year calendar for the latest information.
School Holidays
October 1, 2012: Gandhi’s birthday observed. No school.
October 19, 2012: Primary Parent-Teacher Conferences for new students. No school for Primary 1 and 2 (daycare for full day students only). Regular school day for Primary 3 and 4, Infant Community, Elementary and Junior High.
October 24, 2012: United Nations Day. Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm. No daycare.
November 12, 2012: Veterans’ Day observed. No school. No daycare.
November 15 & 16, 2012: Primary and Elementary Parent-Teacher Conferences for returning students. No school in Primary and Elementary. Daycare for Primary and Elementary full day students only. Regular school days for Infant Community and Junior High.
November 21, 2012: Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm. No daycare.
November 22 & 23, 2012: Thanksgiving holiday. No school. No daycare.
December 14, 2012: Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm. No daycare.
December 17, 2012 – January 1, 2013: Winter break. No school. No daycare.
January 18, 2013: Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm. No daycare.
January 21, 2013: Martin Luther King, Jr.’s birthday. No school. No dayc
February 18 & 19, 2013: Presidents’ Days. No school. No daycare.
February 20 – 22, 2013: No school. Daycare for full day students only.
March 22, 2013: Tentative Wine & Cheese Fundraiser. Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm. No daycare.
April 1 – April 5, 2013: Spring Break. No school. No daycare.
May 10, 2013: Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm in Primary, 12:30 pm in Infant Community, and 1:00 pm in Elementary. No daycare.
May 15, 2013: Primary Parent-Teacher conferences for graduating and returning students. No school in Primary. Daycare for full day Primary students only. Regular school day for Infant Community and Elementary.
May 16 – 17, 2013: Primary and Elementary Parent-Teacher conferences for graduating and returning students. No school in Primary and Elementary. Daycare for full day Primary and Elementary students only. Regular school days for Infant Community.
May 27, 2013: Memorial Day. No school. No daycare.
June 14, 2013: Minimum day. School ends at 12:00 pm. No daycare.
June 17 – 28, 2013: No school. Daycare for full day students only.
July 1 – 5, 2013: No school.
July 8 – August 16, 2013: Elementary summer school.
July 8 – August 23, 2013: Infant Community and Primary summer school.
August 26 – September 3, 2013: No school in Primary and Infant Community
August 19 – September 3, 2013: No school in Elementary
September 4, 2013: Welcome back to school.

October 4, 2012 – Primary Parent Information Meeting at 3:30 pm. Topic: Montessori in the 1st Year.

December 7, 2013 – Cabrillo Primary winter performance at 4:00 pm
December 8, 2012– Foxworthy Primary Winter Performance at 10:30 am
January 9, 2013 – “For Goodness Snakes” visit in Primary
January 17, 2013 – “Adaba Capoeira” performance in Primary
January 24, 2013 – Primary South America Immersion Day
February 1, 2013 – Closed enrollment begins for 2013-2014 school year
February 7, 2013 – Primary Parent Information Meeting at 3:30 pm. Topic: Montessori in the 2st Year.
February 28, 2013 – Closed enrollment ends for 2013-2014 school year
March 1, 2013 – Open enrollment begins for 2013-2014 school year
March 7, 2013 – Primary Asia Immersion Day
March 14, 2013 – Bagpipe performance by Bruce Cotter in Primary
March 21, 2013 – Belly dancing performance by Niosha Nafei in Primary
March 22, 2013 – Annual “Taste of California” fundraiser – 6:30 pm at the Decathlon Club in Santa Clara
March 29, 2013 – Junior High Student-Parent-Teacher Conferences
April 11, 2013– Primary Europe Immersion Day; Primary Parent Information Meeting at 3:30 pm. Topic: Montessori in the 3rd Year.
April 23, 2013 – Primary Earth Day celebration at Foxworthy campus
May 7, 2013 – African drumming performance by Pope Flynn in Primary
May 10, 2013 – Elementary Mother’s Day Luncheon at 12:00 pm (location TBD). School ends at 12:00 pm in Primary, 12:30 pm in
Infant Community, and 1:00 pm in Elementary. There is no daycare.
May 23, 2013 – Primary Africa Immersion Day; Primary Parent Information Meeting at 3:30 pm. Topic: Open forum.
May 29, 2013 – Didjeridu performance by Stephen Kent in Primary
May 30, 2013 – Primary Australia Immersion Day
June 14, 2013 – Primary end of year picnic; Elementary end of year party. School ends at 12:00 pm. There is no daycare.
June 17, 2013 – Primary graduation and luncheon at Foxworthy campus
