Fundraisers

In addition to our annual fundraiser, “A Taste of California,” there are other opportunities available for you to help support our school.

The following fundraising opportunities incur NO ADDITIONAL COST to you whatsoever.

Amazon.com

Learn more about how shopping at Amazon.com can help the school.

eScrip

All families are required to register for the e-scrip program. This is an easy way to donate a portion of your regular expenses to the school without cost to you. Please register directly by going on their website at www.escrip.com. The school account is 0137612721.

You can register any of your credit, payment or grocery cards with eScrip. Any time you use one of those cards at participating merchants, they will donate a percentage of your purchases to the school. The e-scrip program protects the confidentiality of your credit card numbers, so you don’t have to worry. This is an easy, safe way to donate, without spending any more than you already do! A list of participating merchants is available on the eScrip website. See your campus office for additional information.

We would like to remind you that you must renew your Safeway registration every year between September 1st and October 31st. Go to www.escrip.com and click on “Yes! Renew Your Commitment to Safeway Stores Today” in the lower left-hand corner of the screen. You will be asked for your Safeway card number or registered phone number.

Target Take Charge of Education

When you register your Target REDcard at Target’s Take Charge of Education website, and designate One World Montessori as the recipient, Target will donate 1% of your purchases made with your store credit card to the school. For more information and to enroll, visit their website , or call 1-800-316-6142.

Box Tops

Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of participating General Mills products with the original Box Tops program. Box Tops are worth 10 cents each. Please turn these in to your campus office.

Ink Cartridges and Electronics Recycling

Please turn in your used inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges, cell phones, and small electronics to your campus office. We will then forward them to a recycler, who in turn pays the school for the items they receive from us.

Tiny Tots Diaper Service

With very young children in our Infant Community who are working at potty training, we use training pants from Tiny Tots. If you have a little one and are using Tiny Tots’ cloth diapers or training pants, please mention to the representative that you are a One World parent and Tiny Tots will give us a discount on our next bill.

Matching Donations and Grants

We would like to call your attention to an opportunity to make your donations go farther. There are many companies that have matching donation programs. Please check with your employer to see if your company offers a similar program.

Also, many companies offer grant opportunities for educational institutions or nonprofit organizations. If your employer offers these opportunities, please let us know.
