One World Montessori school is committed to providing a Montessori education that incorporates an excellent learning environment, foreign languages, classes in the arts and parent education.
All our Montessori teachers are Montessori trained and are supported by the school in their commitment to expand and upgrade their skills. Our assistants are all fully-trained preschool teachers and are involved in on-going in-service training to become more knowledgeable about the Montessori philosophy and environment.
The Business Manager is accountable for the overall financial management of the school, including budgeting and financial analysis, banking and investing, financial and accounting operations, risk management and insurance. The Business Manager is responsible for oversight of all financial resources and development and expansion of school enrollment in conjunction with the Board to meet target goals.
S/he is responsible for effectively managing the development plan to increase giving and ensure that all goals are met or exceeded.
S/he will develop and sustain the school’s relationships with lead donors and prospects, providing strategic leadership and assuming the lead solicitation role for major gift projects.
S/he oversees how the school is represented in all print and electronic communications, both internal and external.
S/he helps maintain a respectful, positive and cooperative atmosphere, shares responsibility for the safety of all community members, and cooperates in the administration of Own World Montessori’s school policies and procedures.
The Business Manager supervises and collaborates with the front office employees to ensure efficient office operations and excellent customer service.
